Backed by the trusted Dynamic Force engineering, a four-cylinder engine block powers the 2023 Toyota Corolla SE and XSE. Displacing about 2.0 liters, the I-4 powertrain claims a 169-horsepower score from the SAE. This gasoline-burning, normally aspirated powerhouse has a maximum torque rating of 151 pound-feet. Such a patented engine makes a good pair with a continuously variable transmission system, which receives the Dynamic-Shift design. Multiple phases of combustion are governed by the Dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence mechanics. If you want to push the limits of the powertrain, choose Sport Mode. Design Features
You can buy the 2023 Toyota Corolla SE in several single-tone colors, including Celestite, Ice Cap, Ruby Flare, or Wind Chill. This sedan is available in dual-tone paint, such as Midnight Black Metallic and Classic Silver. You’ll find the same color options for the Corolla XSE body.
