The 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander has a standard hybrid system that delivers up to 245 horsepower. This light-duty engine includes a 2.5-liter gasoline engine with normal aspiration. Generating 265 hp, the upgraded 2.4-L engine uses a turbocharger and forced induction. This turbo engine releases 310 pound-feet of peak torque. The Hybrid MAX engine increases the torque output to 400 lb-ft. This electrified propulsion unit kicks out 362 hp. You can tow 5,000 net pounds with the 2024 Grand Highlander. When properly fitted, the 2024 Sequoia tows 9,520 gross pounds. Such astonishing capabilities are possible thanks to the i-FORCE MAX hybrid powerhouse. Two turbochargers facilitate combustion in the 3.5-L engine block. The signature hybrid system draws additional power from a nickel-metal hydride battery, which holds 1.87 kWh. A 36-kW motor delivers up to 184 lb-ft of torque for instant acceleration.

The 2024 Toyota Sequoia offers seven on-road driving modes, including the Sport S+ and Tow/Haul. You can access off-road driving modes from the Multi-Terrain Select. You can confidently plan epic off-road adventures with an extra boost from the Crawl Control. The 2024 Grand Highlander also thrives on the trails when equipped with the M-TS. This lavish Toyota SUV offers up to five settings from the Drive Mode Select, including the Eco and EV. Most trims run on an eight-speed automatic transmission with the Direct Shift branding. You could get a six-speed gearbox with the Direct Shift on the upper end of the lineup. An electronically controlled CVT is available on the Grand Highlander. You’ll get a 10-speed automatic gearbox on the entire Sequoia lineup. This rugged Toyota SUV runs on a standard RWD system with an Automatic Limited-Slip Differential. You’ll enjoy the best possible capabilities on the lineup with the 4WDemand system. Custom Bilstein shocks surely elevate the vehicle’s off-road skills. The optional Dynamic Torque AWD optimizes the Grand Highlander’s handling on various surfaces.

The 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander offers ventilated and heated seats in the first and second rows. These luxurious seats are wrapped in real leather trimming with the Ultrasuede inserts. A tri-zone climate control system and a heated steering wheel maintain a high level of comfort in the winter season. Similarly, the 2024 Sequoia has climate-controlled seats, a heated steering wheel, and a three-zone HVAC system. Semi-aniline leather upholstery is available for the vehicle’s seats. Both Toyota SUVs offer a panoramic moonroof with a sliding sunshade. These premium vehicles also have retractable window sunshades in the second row. Additionally, the Sequoia has sunshades for the windows in the third row.
