Performance Features
Toyota equips the 2023 Sienna with a hybrid system that generates a targeted total of 245 horsepower. Burning gasoline, a 2.5-L internal combustion engine provides a heavy lift under the hood of this minivan. A traditional valve train with 16 valves is a proper addition to the hybrid powertrain. The Sienna XLE and XSE models are available with Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive for class-leading handling. Such a signature drivetrain consists of two motors that power the front wheels. Another motor sends power to the rear wheels in such a driveline configuration. All motors feed on a powerful Nickel-Metal Hydride battery. Providing an abundance of shifting patterns, a continuously variable transmission with electronic controls is standard on both Toyota minivans. These three-row models could run on the EV Mode, which is ideal for short-range trips in cities or suburbs. When you hit the highway, the Eco Mode is more suitable. Other selectable driving modes for the 2023 Toyota Sienna include the Normal and Sport. In fact, the XSE trim rides on an exclusive front suspension system with a sport-tuned design. Both models include a multi-link rear suspension for maximum resilience and rebounding on rough roads. Additionally, these premium Toyota minivans can tow up to 3,500 pounds.
Interior Amenities
Managing temperatures in all three rows, a four-zone climate control system is standard on the 2023 Sienna XLE and XSE. A digital control panel provides precise and easy adjustments to this high-end HVAC system. Wrapped in SofTex, heated front seats are installed inside both models. A sports design enhances the XSE’s first-row seats. This model flaunts premium captain’s chairs with extended sliding features in the second row. The XLE edition offers the unique Split & Stow third-row seats with one-motion adjustments. Both Sienna trims offer a 1,500-W inverter, which powers two 120-V outlets. These spacious minivans boast 18 standard bottle holders. Additionally, families will embrace the standard hands-free sliding doors and optional hands-free liftgate with advanced jam protection.
Technology Features
Standing on the 2023 Sienna XLE’s dashboard, a 9-inch touchscreen provides excellent value in travel assistance, entertainment, and other telematics. The Dynamic Navigation system is added to the XSE’s upgraded 9-inch multimedia system. Both Toyota minivans offer a dozen speakers with proprietary designs from JBL. Optional on the XLE and standard on the XSE, the Driver Easy Speak is synced with the sound system. These vehicles also boast the HD Entertainment Center with dual 11.6-inch HD displays and wireless headphones. You can add a wireless charging system to both trims for extra convenience. Six total USB ports are already standard inside these three-row models.
